Leap Year - 29th February

I feel like posting today because today is the 29th February. Jarang kali ah menyambut hari bulan ani salnya it happens every 4 tahun sekali. Happy Birthday to anyone yang celebrate hari jadinya pada hari bulan ani. It makes me wonder, macam mana durang yang lahir pada 29hb February ani celebrate birthday durang ani ah since every 4 years saja ada 29hb February ani. Barangkali durang celebrate 4 tahun sekali saja nie, which is sad tu eh, just imagine every year normally bulan February ani ada 28 days saja and orang jadi kebiasaan sudah tentang inda wujudnya 29hb ani then every year, macam nada 29hb feb ani.. like lapas 28th february, 1st March tia.. inda jua kana wish birthday tu rah durang.. eeeh.. ermm.. (long pause...) Eh wait.. kamu faham kah? aku pun sendiri inda faham apa yang ku kan cakapkan ani.. inda ku pandai explain eeh.. aaahh lupakan saja, the bottom point is for people born on this date, their actual birthday happens only once every four years and It be hard for people to mark it on an online datebook. You may have a birthday this year, but next year people may forget because it doesn't show up on their datebook.

Anywaysss.. why in the newspaper i didn't see any advertisement regarding about special discount to anyone who celebrates their birthday on the 29th February? kenapa nada promotion on every restaurants, say Empire, Sheraton, RBC restaurants, etc..?? why nada? 29th February is a special day for those yang lahir on that day because jarang bah kan dapat this date (well i did mentioned sad for them and I take back my words..) i just realised this date is soooo sepesial because you can say that you are one year old every four years. By the time you have completed 100 years living, you still say you are just 25 years old.. tee hee hee..

Why Do We Have Leap Day?

Our solar year (the time required for Earth to travel once around the Sun) is 365.24219 days.

Our calendar year is either 365 days in non leap years or 366 days in leap years (Feb 29th inserted).

A leap year every 4 years gives us 365.25 days, sending our seasons off course and eventually in the wrong months.

To change .25 days to .24219, we need to skip a few leap days (Feb 29ths) .... century marks not divisible by 400. So with a few calculations tweek the calendar by skipping 3 of 4 century leap years to average out our calendar year to 365.2425, which is pretty darn close to the solar year 365.24219.

A Hole In One

Oh yes, definitely a hole in one.. a friend of mine main golf ni di kawasan rumahnya then suddenly bula atu landing exactly arah tempat menyimpan roadtax kreta atu.. yatah a hole in one tarus eh hehe.. luan handal bah, kalau main di padang golf, inda jua pandai kena tu hole in one.. hahaha.. cuba tah guess sapa nah punya pukulan tu? Tiger wood? harimau kayu? sudah tentu bukan.. sorry dude for posting this picture, i think its hilarious bah hehe.. awu kasian ku pulang kan kau but it's still funny man.. haha.. hopefully ia inda baca nie..

Carling Cup 2008

Tottenham Hotspurs are the Carling Cup Champions this season after beating Chelsea 2-1 in the Carling Cup final, yesterday. Goals from Dimitar Berbatov and Jonathan Woodgate gave Tottenham Hotspur a 2-1 victory and kept alive their manager, Juande Ramos. Congratulation to the Spurs fan. You guys deserves the cup this year, bukan apa, kesian bah Chelsea kan kamu atu, last year sudah Chelsea champion, inda kan this year lagi, bagi chance la beb.. tee hee hee..

Fun day on Sunday

Went to the Serasa beach with my family and friends for a picnic. Actually planning udah kan bbq di sana but since it was raining dari semalam sampai ke tengah hari, macam sorang-sorang pun malas kan picnic. Then hujan beranti, jadi tia kan picnic. Sibuk tia sorang-sorang membeli makanan, ada lagi tu last minit mengoreng ayam, fries and wedges. Tau membeli minuman saja, so bbq cancel. Sampai sana, tarus urak tikar simpan makanan then makan. Lapas atu baru tah we main bula dulu, then macam boring kawasan sana atu, we move to another location untuk main volleyball, Serasa pulang masih tu. It was really fun but tiring. Should do this dua minggu sekali or sebulan dua kali every weekend untuk merehatkan minda dan fikiran. Bersantai baaaah~~

BRUNEI 24th NATIONAL DAY

Today the 23rd of February 2008, The citizens of Negara Brunei Darussalam celebrate their 24th National Day. The theme for this year's national day is "Tunas Bangsa". Tunas means loyalty to the nation. The theme symbolises loyalty to the nation based on two foundations which are "Tanah Yang Subur" symbolising "Independence, Democratic and Sovereign" according to the teachings of Islam according to Ahli Sunnah Waljamaah and "Benih Yang Baik" symbolising a nation of Malay Muslim Monarchy.


Also today is the birthday of my good friend, Ethma. Happy Birthday Ethma. May Allah Bless You and semoga di murahkan lagi rezekimu supaya dapat lanja aku makan dan minum di WyWy Lambak. Aminnnn.. hehehe. Erm aku lupa birthday mu yang ke berapa ni, I'm sure its not 24th jua kan.. hehe.. neways Ethma, Happy Birthday once again.

Dr Phil's Test

I logged on to my facebook (nah kedapatan tia aku ada facebook.. damn it) last week and I received this application from a friend, lupa ku siapa yang suruh aku try this test. Its a Dr Phil's Test thingy. Who is Dr Phil? He is a professional psychologist whom giving a treatment to some celebrities including Britney Spears. Anyhoots, enuff bout him and Britney, I'm blogging about my result from Dr Phil's questionnaires. So here is my result.

Some are true and some are not especially on the part yang "expect the same loyalty in return". that is totally bullshit, not true. Some professional la konon, ptuii.. bwoh marah.. hahaha. Tapi yang takes time for me to regain my trust atu is totally true, sometimes inda ku mau trust langsung if the trust is broken by a friends.
